On your computer I also install the new protection software e.g. anti-virus program and further protection software (e.g. Firewall, Popup blocker, Spyware /Adware removal tools).

Golden Rules

Malware may enter the computer through emails and prepared web pages. Emails could contain prepared images, documents and websites additionally coding (e.g. through javascripts) which stores this unwanted software on our PCs. No anti-virus program could protect the computer fully.

Thus some general golden rules to protect your computer:

• use a good anti-virus software
• scan your computer regularly with the anti-virus program
• keep your software, programs and Windows, always updated
• take care which files you download and store on your computer
• make sure that you visit as only safe web sites.
